Your Village Board and Public Meetings
Meet the elected officials who serve Prairie Creek, review upcoming meeting agendas, read past minutes, and stay informed with official public notices. Open, accessible government starts here.
How Prairie Creek Is Governed
The Village of Prairie Creek is governed by an elected Village Board consisting of the Village President and six Trustees. The Board sets local policy, adopts the annual budget, enacts ordinances, and oversees the delivery of services to residents.
Board members serve staggered four-year terms and represent the community at large. The Village Clerk maintains all official records, prepares agendas, and records the minutes of every meeting.
All Board meetings are open to the public in accordance with the Illinois Open Meetings Act. Residents are encouraged to attend and participate.
